TADs Treatment
TADS, Orthodontic Temporary Anchorage Devices, are small, biocompatible devices made from titanium that provide stability for patients during treatment. Dr. Heinz places TADS into the jawbone to create an anchor point for teeth to move more precisely and efficiently. TADS aren’t always necessary but are used in conjunction with braces or aligners to accomplish more complex orthodontic movement.
